Art Gallery Night!

And the evening was a success!
Great job, kids!  You did some marvelous works of art AND you did a magnificent job of showing your family members through the "gallery".

Small-scale clipper ships.

On the last day of National Lutheran Schools' Week, we took a break from reading during Literature class.  We've been reading the book, Stowaway, by Karen Hesse.  This is the story of a real-life boy who ran away from a life of cruelty to become a stowaway on Captain James Cook's ship, Endeavor.  He ended up sailing with the crew for 3 years!  Today we made miniature clipper ships.
