Today we went out in the neighborhood around Our Redeemer for our Christmas Servant Event. We distributed informational packets to our school "neighbors" informing them of Christmas service times and a devotional booklet written by the staff and faculty of Our Redeemer. Our students had a great time - their only disappointment was that no one was home at any of the houses we visited, so they weren't able to do the caroling they had planned on.

What's In A Christmas Carol?????
Enjoy a sixth grader's interpretation of a traditional Christmas carol! Their instructions were to take the lyrics of the carol and rewrite them so that a first grader could clearly understand what the carol was about. So, they took the more difficult words (hark, herald, reconciled, triumph, host, and proclaim) and put them into everyday language. Now even a young child can understand what Hark The Herald Angels is all about. Great job, kids!
